“When the chair fell into the void” is a hybrid film at the intersection of two genres: documentary and dance. Forced to escape their homeland, anonymous migrants voice their feeling of disconnection, questioning the notions of identity and belonging. Untold stories emerge in the maze of an urban landscape. The emotional fragments are motivating the movements of masked dancers: exploring the city, their body seems to be animated by the flow words, articulated by the cathartic memories.
